PROPOGATION

By Seeds :
vSeed formation only in single flower varieties.
vSowing of seeds in soil and leaf manure(50:50).
v10cm row and at a depth of 1.5 to 2.0 cm.
vGermination 10 – 15 days.
By tubers :
v30 to 60 tuber and 1.5 cm diameter.
vHealthy tubers.
vFresh tubers should not be used.
v20x20 cm distance and 5 cm depth.
vSowing in April – May after treating with Blitox.
2.5 lakhs tubers/ha required.
